The Journey began 43 years back

I should have started this long back. But as they say it is never too late to be a beginner. I have loved writing for long. I gives me the feeling of being in control of my emotions and my thoughts. As a young boy, traveling all over the world, I would sit and try to write stuff I felt. I had no computers, no laptops and nothing more than pieces of paper and pencils. At a young age, I found myself expressing better when writing than talking. I was even encouraged to write more when I won an All-India Essay writing contest in Grade 10. Every literati at the prize distribution ceremony advised me to go into journalism, but those were the times in India where a career in media was not lucrative and I was just interested a lot in all the materialistic things the world could provide. And that included an American education as well. I knew I couldn’t get a scholarship to study in the US on a 3 year Journalism degree, so I choose to be an engineer. And while that decision has bolstered my career and life, it left a void in my life when it came to fulfilling my creative instincts.

This blog is an attempt to fill that void. I have written a lot before. And it will take time to bring all of those here. So stay tuned and if you come along on this journey, I can promise you a bit of everything: supply chain and my profession, creativity in dance, music, art, and production design, travelogues and general points to ponder. And who knows you might get some insight from them and a bulb will light up somewhere in your life, and make it better.
