Dear Supply Chain community,
What we do is not easy. I like to think of it as being Santa, every day. Bringing goodies into the barn, ensuring they are made-packed-shipped-received- on time – ultimately to make deliveries to people, whether they spoke to our colleagues, whether they wrote us a letter, or email, or ordered on line – being Santa is way more time sensitive and complicated today.

For all the people in the factories, in offices, on ships, on trucks, on docks and warehouses who work extra hours, when we succeed we bring satisfaction (if not downright happiness) to customers. We get daily gratification (and sometimes persecution) for doing what we do to support the business…what is better than this daily affirmation of a job well done?

It would be easy to focus on failures, and we should in order to fix the reason they occur. However, we need to be happy for the success and smiles we bring day after day. So, when describing what we do, remember we deliver satisfaction.

Hope you have a Merry Christmas, a great Holiday Season and may your business soar to even greater heights in 2020!
