As Supply Chain leaders we constantly fail. Failure to predict demand; failure to predict spend; failure to make product available; failure to execute profitably; failure to support our team; failure to catch a trend; failure to be prepared for the unexpected; failure to respond fast enough; failure to have the right product at the right time in the right location at the right price – the list goes on.
And when we succeed it is often passed off as normal routine work expected of us. But what makes true Supply Chain leaders is if we bounce back and become resilient everyday. And understand that we can wake up in the morning with plans for the day and then our supply chains will happen!

The strength to fail is key in our line of work. The ability to embrace uncertainty and accept things outside our control. As long as we embrace the unexpected, we keep learning and bouncing back; we will thrive in our missions!
